The pungent spices, the exotic aroma creates a feast for your senses that you wish to experience more often. Welcome to The 5S Box Indian Restaurant! An exploration of North Indian culture through its cuisine and perfect combination of the FIVE Indian spices.
At The 5S Box Indian Restaurant, we aim to become a destination of the choice for authentic North Indian Cuisine in the city of Davao and Mindanao Region.
The elegant, yet casual environment has been designed to create a warm and inviting dining location which offers the ideal gateway for business lunch or relaxed dining.
Our dedication to using only fresh meat, authentic spices and herbs, emphasis on traditional and low-fat cooking sets us apart from the fray. Our dishes smell and taste like home-cooked food from the huts of rural India that you can choose from our extensive menu. With the combination of fresh herbs, garam masalas which are roasted and made in-house combination with rich flavors from onion, tomato, ginger and garlic makes it more authentic and traditional.

Our Chef ajay pundir
Our Chef Ajay Pundir, born in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand Northern part of India in 1989 to a family of great cooks in his home town. He got his early culinary inspiration from his mother where his two brothers are also a Chef for an Indian restaurant in other countries
His career highlights started in 2006 to 2008 as a trainee tandoor cook, and from there, he works with Journey of Spices an Indian Restaurant and Bar in Delhi from 2009 until 2012 as a commissary tandoor chef. And since then, he travels and works in Kuwait, Taiwan, and Vietnam as an Indian curry and tandoor Chef.
His style of cooking is more on the traditional authentic Northern Indian dishes with high expertise in Tandoor, Curries, and Biryanis. He cooked his food very seriously from flavors up until to the quality of ingredients with immense respect for Indian Cuisine Tradition.

My family and I recently ate at your restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The authentic Indian food was so delicious. I personally loved the Maiti Chicken and the Shrimp Curry. Your staff were so hospitable and welcoming. They mentioned that all the food was prepared by an international Indian chef so you can't get more authentic than that. When we arrived outside of The 5S Box Indian Restaurant I wondered if I was at the right place. But once inside my impression changed. Fantastic decor and the welcome is second to none. Starter was a mixed sharing platter with aloo chat, vegetable pakora and chicken samosa. This was a fantastic taster to what we were about to experience next. I demolished a delicious grilled platter with butter naan whilst my wife had a chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Also on our table was a mutton biryani which melted in your mouth and the spices were great.
To finish off I had a plain lassi. The whole meal was a taste sensation and the attentiveness of the staff including the owners was superb. I have been back 4 times since even though I live in Tagum.
